Cookie Policy
This policy explains the cookies and browser storage that may be used when you visit SiteLens.
1. Our approach
SiteLens does not use advertising cookies. The application uses one necessary local-storage record to remember your privacy choice. Language preference and local audit history are enabled when you choose “Preferences only” or “Preferences + analytics”. Yandex Metrica analytics and Webvisor session recording are enabled only after the separate “Preferences + analytics” choice.
Browser local storage is not technically a cookie, but similar transparency and choice rules apply because information is stored on your device.
2. Storage used by SiteLens
Necessary: sitelens-cookie-consent-v1
Remembers whether you selected preference storage or necessary storage only. Purpose: avoid asking the same question on every page. Retention: up to 12 months, after which SiteLens asks again. This record is necessary to respect and remember your choice.
Preferences: sitelens-language
Remembers whether you selected English or Russian. It is used only after permission and remains until you change your cookie settings or clear site data.
Preferences: sitelens-history-v1
Keeps up to five recent audit reports in this browser so you can reopen them and avoid a repeated API request for the same domain during the short local cache period. It is used only after permission and remains until you clear audit history, choose “Necessary only” or clear site data.
Analytics: Yandex Metrica counter 110860777
After analytics consent, Yandex Metrica measures visits, traffic sources, page interactions, outbound links and bounce rate. Webvisor may record a visual replay of page interactions. SiteLens marks URL and payment fields so their entered contents are masked, and excludes its forms from form analysis.
Yandex Metrica may use first-party cookies and local-storage identifiers such as _ym_uid, _ym_d, _ym_isad and related _ym* records. Retention depends on the identifier and Yandex settings; Webvisor recordings are retained by Yandex for up to 15 days. Withdrawing analytics consent stops future collection and removes accessible first-party _ym* data from this browser.
3. Cloudflare security cookies
SiteLens is designed for Cloudflare Pages. Depending on the security and traffic-protection features enabled by the service owner, Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies such as _cf_bm or _cfuvid. These help distinguish legitimate traffic, manage load and prevent abuse. SiteLens does not use them for advertising or cross-site tracking.
The exact cookies and retention can depend on the deployed Cloudflare configuration. See Cloudflare’s documentation and the SiteLens Privacy Policy for provider information.
4. Your choices
- Preferences only: enables language memory and local audit history without analytics.
- Preferences + analytics: also enables Yandex Metrica and Webvisor.
- Necessary only: removes saved language and audit history, while retaining only the record needed to remember this choice.
- Change your choice: use “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time.
- Delete everything: clear cookies and site data for SiteLens in your browser settings. The consent banner will appear again.
The website audit remains available if you choose necessary storage only. Your language can still be selected for the current URL, but it will not be remembered for a later visit.
5. Changes and contact
We may update this policy if storage technologies or providers change. The effective date will be updated on this page. For controller details and privacy contact information, see the Privacy Policy.
